UltimatePDF: the Swiss Army knife for your Dolibarr documents

UltimatePDF allows you to customise the PDF templates generated by Dolibarr so that they match your company’s visual identity and business requirements.

Create your own templates without directly modifying Dolibarr’s standard files. Colours, logos, borders, columns, images, address blocks, signatures, footers, barcodes, QR codes and additional documents can all be configured from the module interface.

Each template can be saved with its own settings, allowing you to create several layouts suited to your different activities, brands, establishments or issuing companies.

Installation

Installation from the Dolibarr interface

  1. Go to Home > Setup > Modules/Applications.
  2. Open the Deploy/Install external module tab.
  3. Select the module ZIP archive.
  4. Click Upload file.
  5. Then activate the UltimatePDF module.

Manual installation

  • Download the module ZIP archive from DoliStore.com.
  • Place the file in the Dolibarr root directory.
  • Extract the archive using the following command:
unzip module_ultimatepdf-24.0.x.zip
  • Refer to the INSTALL_EN file supplied with the module.
  • Check that the resulting directory structure is correct: htdocs/custom/ultimatepdf.
  • Then go to Home > Setup > Modules/Applications and activate UltimatePDF.
  • Click the module configuration icon to create your first template.

Usage

Once the module is activated, create a template from the UltimatePDF configuration page, then select it as the active template in the settings for the relevant document type.

Settings are saved independently for each template and each document category. You can therefore use a different layout for your proposals, orders, invoices, shipments or contracts.
